your day to day trip
D 1. Antananarivo –Périnet National Park Meet at your hotel in Tana. We drive straight to Périnet.
We stop at the butterfly farm at Mandraka. Then go on east. Arrival at Périnet in the afternoon.
D 2. Périnet and Mantadia It is the best place to meet Indri-Indri; the biggest of lemurs. Local guide will inform you about their impressive group family behaviour. Other species as Grey bamboo and wooly lemur are present on the spot. Flora is very interesting, there are many medicinal plants.
D 3. Périnet – Tamatave Go on down east by Ravinala (traveller's palm) road. We cross through forest until we reach Tamatave. Relax and walk along the sea front in the evening.
D 4. Tamatave – Ste Marie We stroll around the market and the seafront if we have time. Transfer to the airport and fly to Ste Marie (25 mn). Join the hotel.
D 5 & 6. Ste Marie Here you are on hidden Indian Ocean paradise. Ste Marie is a quiet and peaceful place, with many nice people. Two days at leisure with several activities possible; sea outing, diving, snorkelling, mountain bike, motorbike and hiking.
D 7. Ste Marie - Antananarivo Have breakfast at the hotel and morning at leisure. Hotel staff drives you to the airport. Fly to Antananarivo (1h)
