New species discovery again !
This microcebus Gerpi is the 19th species of living microcebus in Madagascar. Researchers from « Groupe d’études et de recherches sur les primates » (GERP) in Madagascar found it in Sahafina rain forest, in Brickaville. It is not very big as all mouse lemur, about 20 cm and tiny with its 70g.

Isalo National Park ~ Malagasy Tours opens the path ! october 2011
Malagasy Tours opens the FOCUS path in collaboration with Madagascar National Parks and signed an agreement, it is a wonderful loop in the heart of Isalo mountain. The name of this new trail is from a large groûp of hikers who opens the spot with us in 2008. Guides, porters et villagers gave hands to clear, level, and adjust the trail where a superb view opens to visitors.
We invite you to visit and trek in Isalo National Park !

A new conservation NGO is being born. aout 2011
Its scope is towards the massif of Makay and the main purpose is to classify it as protected area.
MALAGASY TOURS, with his manager, is part of the board of directors and has been to the constitutive general assembly in august 9th.
It is a long term project. It includes various aspects such as : social, economic, scientific, agricultural, cultural and ecotourism.
