D 2. Saturday Antananarivo - Diego Suarez
Arrival in Tana. Flight connection Diego (1h20). Your guide welcomes you at the airport. Promenade in the city. We stay the huge bay of Diego Ramena up (depending on flight arrival time). Lunch at restaurant.
Route to Joffreville, on the heights overlooking the large bay of Diego.

D 3. Sunday Montagne d'Ambre National Park (3h walk)
Visit the Montagne d'Ambre National Park in the botanical trail to the big waterfall and the Lake of the Green Cup. The flora of the rainforest is lush and varied.
You will meet the lemur coronatus and lemur fulvus. Lunch picnic at Camp Dogfish. Hike to the village.
Dinner and overnight stay at Nature Lodge (or equivalent)

D 4 & 5. Monday & Tuesday Special Reserve Ankarana (120 km + / - 4h)
Hiking quiet and exciting to discover the massif of Ankarana. At the heart of this mountain stands the famous Tsingy, these rocky ridges eroded by water, wind ...., time. Deep canyons cut the cliff. We visit the cave of bats and other formed by stalactites, stalagmites and draperies. Many "fady" (taboo) are still very present in this region. You will need to learn and respect them. Antakarana guides and porters will be our travel companions during these few days. Provide a powerful flashlight and extra batteries, they will be useful for the exploration of caves

D 6, 7 & 8. Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Ankarana - Ankarafantsika
We take the road along from time to time and let the sea right Nosy Be, major hotels and tourists.
We stop in plantations of coffee, cocoa and ylang ylang, these cultures are the riches of the region with cashew and a little further east vanilla. Nature here is generous.
From village to village, we continue our journey and our adventure in a friendly atmosphere to meet the villagers.

D 10. Sunday Ankarafantsika - Antananarivo (420 km + / - 8)

D 11. Monday Antananarivo - Antsirabe - Manandona (190 km + / - 4h)
Road to Antsirabe for a first approach highland Madagascar. Arrival in town and walk through the streets of this small spa town. Continuation on Manandona 15 km south of Antsirabe. For your accommodation, you are welcomed by the villagers in a traditional house renovated, comfortable, equipped with beds (small dormitories), toilets, showers and dining room where you take your dinner getting to know your hosts.

D 12. Tuesday Rando of The Highlands (5 / 6 hours walk)
Why Highlands? Simply because it is the emblematic landscape of Madagascar. A landscape unlike any other, because of hills and ridge lines, villages clinging to the sides of brick houses with high roofs, rice fields and valleys in these colors: red, ocher, beige ...
Hiking? from village to village, in cases of boxes to meet the farmers, artisans, blacksmiths.
For our accommodation, we will be welcomed by the villagers in large renovated traditional houses. They are comfortable, equipped with beds (small dormitories), toilets, showers and dining room where we take our meals come to know our guests. These walks are conducted in collaboration with a youth association malgaches Antsirabe. This is meant to be a "sustainable" income is in part distributed to villages. D 13. Wednesday Manandona - Fianarantsoa - Ambalavao (300 km + / - 6:30 am)
Still on the National 7 we move towards the south. In the village Ambositra we will "hunt" in the shops of artisans Zafimaniry, seeking a piece of wood carved or inlaid square so finely crafted. Walk through the village and lunch in a restaurant where we taste the specialties malgaches.
Through rice fields and vineyards, we continue to Ambalavao, one of the most picturesque towns in the country.

D 14. Thursday Ambalavao : Excursion to the "Granit"
Anja, a small reserve managed by the villagers of the region. Here at the foot of the large granite blocks that form the foothills of the Massif de l'Andringitra is a small forest where the lemur catta lives. The lemur catta Sifaka and we expect the side canyons in the dry forest. We leave at their meeting.
The most courageous attack walking up to the pool via the cliff (about 6 hours of walking). Attention, it will be hot. Porters and guide you. Those who prefer to relax and take the 4x4 sitting join the pool! lunch picnic. Free afternoon, swimming, rest. Dinner and overnight camping.

D 17 to 21. Sunday through Thursday THE DEEP SOUTH
