D 1. Antananarivo - Antsirabe
Depart Tana in the morning after a short city tour.

D 2. Antsirabe - Fianarantsoa (240 km +/- 5h30)
By the Highlands road, we go to Ambositra capital of the craft.
Ambositra is the village of woodcarvers (inlay and cabinetry). We will "hunt" in the shops of artisans, looking for the piece of wood carved or inlaid square so finely crafted
Continuation to Fianarantsoa. Our journey through many villages along rice fields and hills. Overnight at the hotel.

D 3. Fianarantsoa - Ranohira (300 km +/- 6h)
Through the vineyards of the Betsileo country we go to Ambalavao. Wine tasting in the cellars of the region. The village of Ambalavao is one of the most beautiful in the region. We visit the factory craft paper Antemoro. The paper plant was introduced to Madagascar in the fifteenth by the Arabs and is still produced in the same process by this small shop Ambalavao. Lunch in the village.
Massif de l'Andringitra extends south, we see the peak Boby (the second summit of the country: 2 658 m) on our way to Ihosy. Here, the landscape changes completely, we come in Bara country. Crossing the barren and desolate plateau of Horombe Ranohira up at the gates of the Isalo National Park.

D 5. Ranohira - Ifaty
