DETAILED ROUTE

From one of the most beautiful bays in the world in the primary forest
de la Montagne d'Ambre, lakes craters Sakalava villages,
savannahs of the north to coral islands through the scents of spices,
cocoa, ylang ylang.

D 1. Leaving Paris
Vol Air Madagascar - Night on board

D 2. Antananarivo
Arrival in Antananarivo. Reception at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Promenade in the city and the alleys and stairs of the upper town. Visit of the Queen's Palace in the company of a guide historian.
Overnight at the hotel. .

D 3. Antananarivo - Diego Suarez
Transfer to the airport for a flight to the far north of the island: Diego Suarez.
Reception at the airport by your guide, sightseeing, and then transfer to Joffreville. There, an eco-lodge welcomes us with a beautiful view on one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Overnight at the hotel.

D 4. Emerald Sea
That is - they say - one of the most beautiful bays in the world! We invite you to judge for yourself. With fishermen from the village of Ramena we embark on a little longer the bay, take the pass and leave in the Indian Ocean to address the small islands nearby. Here the sea is green and we call the Emerald.
Back at the lodge late in the day.

D 5. Montagne d'Ambre National Park (2/3h walk)
Tour Montagne d'Ambre National Park in the botanical trail up to the big waterfall. The flora of the rainforest is lush and varied. You experience the lemur coronatus lemur fulvus and Sanford, the elegant galidie (galidia elegans dambrensis)
Lunch picnic at Camp Dogfish (organized by Malagasy Tours). Continuation of the visit to the waterfalls and Lake Verde. Back at the end of the day. Opportunity for the brave walk down to the village of Joffreville. Overnight at the hotel.

D 6. Diego - Ankify
We get the Massif d'Ambre to win Ambilobe. Road through the plantations of cashew nuts, cocoa, coffee and ylang ylang to the village of Ambanja. We find the sea Ankify. Nosy Be is opposite. Overnight at the hotel.

D 7. Ankify - Nosy Be
Along Nosy Komba at the crossing to Nosy Be in speedboat (45 minutes) Arrival at Hellville, the capital. Transfer by taxi to Dzamandzary then arrived at the hotel around 11 am for lunch. Afternoon relaxation. Overnight at the hotel.

D 8. Nosy Komba - Nosy Tanikely
Departure by boat for a cruise of the day. Nosy Komba first stop to visit the small village of fishermen and to greet the lemur macaco. Nosy Tanikely is our second call, this site is a reserve submarine, a snorkeling to discover wonderful fauna. Lunch on site. Back on Nosy Be. Overnight at the hotel.

D 9 & 10. Nosy Be
Free days in Nosy Be. Several activities are available from your hotel: walk on the beach and in the surrounding villages, scuba diving (diving club stands right next to your hotel) etc ... At the end of the day, the trip to Mont Passot offers a superb panorama on the island at sunset.

D 11. Nosy Be - Antananarivo
Free morning in Nosy Be, transfer to airport for flight to the capital.
Arrival in Antananarivo, welcome by your guide and transfer to city Night in the hotel.

D 12. Antananarivo - Park Périnet
Route to the National Park Périnet.
Visit the "Butterfly Farm" to Mandrake. Here we see an impressive concentration of chameleons, geckos, lizards and butterflies, of course.
Picnic on the spot. Continue to the east. Arriving late afternoon in the village of Andasibe.
Overnight in pretty bungalows on the outskirts of the forest. Overnight at the hotel..

D 13. Périnet - Antananarivo
After breakfast, accompanied by a guide of the park, hiking in the forest to discover the site. The proximity of Tana in fact the most visited park in the country.
