Our goal with this trip is for you to enjoy
the variety and diversity of Madagascar.
We decided to stop for the night stages in small villages
High Land, to be able to walk out in alleys,
and taste the sweetness of life in Madagascar. For our stay in Nosy Be,
it is on the small bungalow near the sea that we have focused our choice.

D 1. DLeaving Paris
Flight on Air Madagascar - night on board.

D 2. Antananarivo.
Check Air Madagascar flight. Reception at the airport. Transfer to the hotel in the city center.
Lunch available in the restaurant. The afternoon trip to the upper town and back to the hotel late afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel Ivotel (or equivalent)

D 3. Antananarivo - Antsirabe - Ambositra (250 km +/- 5h)
Road to the south and landscapes typical of the campaign high plateaus.
Arriving late morning in Antsirabe, spa town and important agricultural center, with its renowned workshops of stone carvers and semi-precious. Tour of the city.
Continuation Ambositra up. Overnight at the hotel Mahatsinjo (or equivalent)

D 4. Ambositra - Fianarantsoa - Ambalavao (210 km +/- 5h)
Visit the village and the shops of artisans Zafimaniry. Departure to Fianarantsoa.
Walk in the streets. Through rice fields and vineyards, we continue to Ambalavao, one of the most picturesque towns in the country.
Installation at the Bougainvillea Hotel (or equivalent)

D 5. Ambalavao - Ranohira (280 km +/- 6h)
Visit the manufactures handmade paper Antemoro, the paper-based plant mulberry bark Avoha.
We leave the country for the Betsileo of Bara. Stop Ihosy.
We take the time to walk to the market.
Crossing the plateau to join the Horombe Ranohira, near Isalo National Park.
Overnight at the hotel ISALO RANCH (or equivalent)

D 6. Isalo National Park (2/3h walk)
Our day is devoted to the discovery of this park. To the canyons in the morning to go to the meeting of maki and Sifakis, lemurs inhabit the dry forest. Walk in the canyons.
Picnic lunch at the natural pool (organized by Malagasy Tours).
Afternoon of relaxation in this beautiful site.
Back at the hotel. Overnight in ISALO RANCH (or equivalent)

D 7. Ranohira - Ifaty (280 km +/- 6h)
Down to the Mozambique Channel. Stop en route to admire the Mahafaly tombs naive drawings and sculptures strange. Route to Ifaty. Installation in small bungalows in the seaside Night at the Hotel La Plage equivalent).

D 8. Ifaty
Free day by the sea on the beach Relax. A small sailing club is available for a trip or a dive / bottle to the coral reef.
Overnight at the Hotel La Plage (or equivalent).

D 9. Tuléar - Antananarivo
Transfer to Tulear airport for a flight to Antananarivo (1h40).
(depending on flight schedules, lunch or Ifaty or to Tulear or Tana).
Reception at the airport. Transfer to the hotel in the city center. Overnight at the hotel Ivotel (or equivalent)

D 10. Antananarivo - Diego Suarez
Road to the airport for a flight (1h15) to the extreme north of the island: Diego Suarez.
(depending on flight schedules, lunch or Tana or Diego) Home at the airport, city tour, then transfer to Joffreville. Here, a small eco-lodge welcomes us with a beautiful view on one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Overnight at the hotel NATURE LODGE (or equivalent)

D 11. Montagne d'Ambre National Park (2/3h walk)
Tour of Montagne d'Ambre National Park in the botanical trail up to the big waterfall. The flora of the rainforest is lush and varied. You experience the lemur coronatus lemur fulvus and Sanford, the elegant galidie (galidia elegans dambrensis)
Lunch picnic at Camp Dogfish (organized by Malagasy Tours). Continuation of the visit to the waterfalls and Lake Verde. Back at the end of the day. Opportunity for the brave walk down to the village of Joffreville.
Overnight at the hotel NATURE LODGE (or equivalent)

D 12. Diego Suarez - Ankify - Nosy Be (250 km +/- 5h + 45 minutes by boat)
We get the Massif d'Ambre to win Ambilobe. Road through the plantations of cashew nuts, cocoa, coffee and ylang ylang to the village of Ambanja. We find the sea Ankify. Nosy Be is opposite.
Nosy Be for crossing by boat, we pass Nosy Komba. Check-in Hellville, the capital.
Transfer by taxi to the hotel. Night at the Village Explora (or equivalent)

D 13. Nosy Be
Free day in Nosy Be. Many activities as possible from the hotel water sports (fishing, diving ...), boat ride, rent a bike and a bike (at Hellville), ... or simply relax by the sea

D 14. Nosy Be - Antananarivo (departure)
After a final swim or a walk on the beach, flight to Antananarivo (1h15)

Home and walk to traditional market (if flight schedules permitting). Flight to Paris in the evening.

		Ambositra Mecca Zafimaniry artisans known for their talented woodcarvers (inlay and cabinetry). The architecture is typical of cases in the villages of the region.

		The archipelago of Nosy Be The discovery of its seabed extraordinary.
