DETAILED ROUTE

Vehicle, Antananarivo to the south
to explore the highlands, the rainforest of Ranomafana,
Horombe and the lunar landscape Isalo, to the Mozambique Channel.
Getaway to the extreme South, Fort-Dauphin, between lakes and mountains.

D 1. Departure from Paris to Madagascar.
Flight Air Madagascar - Night on board

D 2. Antananarivo
Arrival in Tana. Reception at the airport by your guide who will accompany you throughout this journey. Transfer to the hotel. Promenade in the city and the alleys and stairs of the upper town. Lunch at restaurant in town. Visit of the Queen's Palace in the company of a guide historian.
Back to the hotel late afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

D 3. Antananarivo - Antsirabe
Upland Road to Antsirabe, spa town and important agricultural center, with its renowned workshops of stone carvers and semi-precious. Visit of the city.

D 4. Antsirabe - Ranomafana
Ambositra Stop for a visit to the village and woodcarvers Zafimaniry.
Route to the Ranomafana National Park. Nocturnal lemurs to visit.

D 5. Ranomafana - Fianarantsoa
Visit of the Ranomafana park where the lemur fulvus and propithéques, the flora is also superb.
Road in the afternoon to Fianarantsoa.

D 6. Fianarantsoa - Ranohira
Continuation for the Parc de l'Isalo; Ambalavao stop tour of the production craft paper Antemoro.
We arrive at Ihosy, then through the savanna of up Horombe Ranohira.

D 7. Isalo National Park
The hike in the park, we can approach this magnificent landscape.
Picnic lunch at the natural pool. Sunset in the window of Isalo.

D 8. Ranohira - Tuléar - Ifaty
Way to Tulear, through the plains of palms and cotton plantations. Visit the amazing Mahafaly tombs. Check-in Tulear and city tour before the sandy track of Ifaty.

D 9 & 10. Ifaty
Spent days off to relax: canoe ride, rest, diving, beach. Hiking opportunities in the area.

D 11. Tulear - Fort Dauphin
Fly to Fort Dauphin in southeast Madagascar. Reception on arrival by the staff of the hotel Le Dauphin. Overnight at the hotel.

NB - following the scheduled flight time Tulear - Fort Dauphin, we have lunch in one of these 2 cities. If the flight permits we go from that day to Berenty.

D 12. Fort Dauphin - Berenty reserve
(80 km +/-2h30)
Breakfast. Departure to the Berenty Reserve in an area devoted to the cultivation of sisal. During a hike in the heart of fauna and flora rich and dense, the forest will deliver all of its secrets: the ballets of lemurs, the banyan branches tangled, magnificent views of the river Mandraré. Overnight at the hotel in the reserve.

D 13. Fort Dauphin
Free day in Fort Dauphin. Possibility of various excursions to pic St Louis, Bay St. Lokaro or Luce.

D 14. Fort Dauphin - Antananarivo
Transfer to the airport. Flight to Antananarivo, and then matched to Paris.

D 15. Arriving in Paris

	Fort Dauphin Region of contrasts, between lakes and mountains, where lush landscapes and arid meet. This strong name dolphin Louis XIV was a commercial basis logtemps visited by the fleets of lmonde wide. Today starting point for excursions all rich particularities of tourist activities.


		Berenty Berenty is a region on the sisal plantation. This is a private reserve on the banks of the River Mandraré. This reserve is home to diurnal and nocturnal lemurs and other animals in the region, such as crocodiles, bats, turtles .... We will see during our visit the vegetation of the South.


	Antsirabe Antsirabe is a town very important industrial, agricultural, and also the capital of the "Vichy" Malagasy and "rickshaws" with about 5 000 plying in the city.


		Ifaty (Tulear) One of the most beautiful lagoons in the country with its coral reef known for its beauty. In addition to all the water activities (plongée. ..) you can also visit the back country and its rich vegetation dry and baobabs didiéracés.


		Isalo National Park The massif of Isalo ruiniform the lunar landscape is composed of sandstone layers, and marked by deep canyons can measure several kilometers in length. Lunch at the natural swimming pool will leave you a souvenir of this massive fairytale where erosion has ingéniée carving a world titanic where you can meet Catta lemurs, Sifaka or Fluvius or admire the Baobab, this feature massif. 		Ranomafana National Park Rainforest Ranomafana forest is very dense. The terrain is hilly but the trails are well developed.


		Antananarivo From the terrace of the Grill du Rova, a few meters of the Queen's Palace, you will enjoy a superb view of the City of a Thousand.
